Qualifications

• Active CPA or EA required with 10+ years in public accounting or tax.
• Depth in compliance, planning, and advisory for individuals and entities.
• Proven experience managing and developing tax professionals.
• Strong knowledge of federal/state/local tax rules and multi-entity planning.
• Direct client relationship experience with book of business management.

Responsibilities

• Own client relationships on complex tax matters across planning, compliance, and consulting.
• Lead preparation and review of complex returns for corporations, partnerships, individuals, trusts, and estates.
• Deliver proactive tax planning with opportunities for savings and guidance on legislative changes.
• Stay current on laws and translate them into actionable guidance.
• Lead, mentor, and develop a tax team and drive performance.
• Identify opportunities to expand services and manage risk for the practice.
