Aardvark Tax Advisors, the accounting and client services practice of Cynch AI, seeks a Tax Manager to own complex engagements, lead a team, and elevate quality. This role supports remote work across the United States, serving diverse clients in tax planning, compliance, and advisory.

You will manage client relationships, review multi-entity returns, and drive proactive tax planning while mentoring staff and ensuring accuracy. Collaboration with senior leadership is essential.

Qualifications

• Active CPA or EA required.
• 7+ years in public accounting or tax.
• Experience reviewing the work of other tax professionals.
• Strong knowledge of federal, state, and local tax regulations.
• Direct client relationship experience.
• Proficiency with tax software such as UltraTax, CCH Axcess, Lacerte.

Responsibilities

• Manage client relationships across tax planning, compliance, and consulting.
• Review complex returns for multiple entity types across jurisdictions.
• Deliver tax planning beyond compliance and identify saving opportunities.
• Stay current on legislative changes and translate into guidance.
• Maintain a high standard of accuracy across deliverables.
• Mentor and develop tax professionals and manage workloads.
