Job summary

Jobot is seeking a Tax Manager for an immediate opportunity in Sandpoint. The role focuses on leading tax engagements for individuals, fiduciaries, and businesses while mentoring staff and driving client relationships.

Ideal candidates hold an active CPA license with substantial public accounting tax experience, and have a track record of leadership and potential for partnership within a growing firm.

Qualifications

• Active CPA license required.
• Public accounting tax experience at Senior Manager or Partner level.
• Experience leading engagements and developing client relationships.
• Big 4 or regional firm experience a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead tax engagements for individuals, fiduciaries, and businesses.
• Review complex tax returns and develop proactive tax strategies.
• Serve as primary point of contact for new and existing clients.
• Mentor and guide staff and senior accountants.
• Participate in business development, community presence, and firm leadership.
