Job summary

Insite US seeks a Senior Tax Manager to lead a Denver-based business and individual tax practice within a national CPA and advisory firm. The role manages diverse tax engagements, drives planning opportunities, and mentors junior staff to deliver high-quality client service.

The ideal candidate has a CPA/EA or Bar license, 10+ years in tax compliance, and strong knowledge of corporate and individual taxation. Hybrid work options and a robust benefits package are available.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or a related discipline.
• CPA, EA or Bar License required.
• 10+ years of recent tax compliance experience.
• Public accounting experience strongly preferred.
• Strong knowledge of S-Corporations, C-Corporations, Partnerships and Individual taxation.

Responsibilities

• Manage all aspects of annual tax compliance for business and individual clients.
• Review and sign federal and state tax returns, including S-Corporations, C-Corporations, Partnerships and Individual returns.
• Identify tax-saving opportunities, potential tax exposures and tax planning strategies.
• Oversee tax projections, extensions, estimated payments and client deadlines.
• Respond to IRS and state tax notices, conduct technical research and prepare client memoranda.
• Manage client engagements, ensuring accurate and timely delivery.
• Supervise, mentor and develop junior tax professionals and interns.
• Take ownership of engagement budgets, billing and overall client service.
