Job summary

Calibre Global Consulting in San Diego is seeking a Tax Manager I to lead tax engagements and mentor junior staff. The role requires CPA licensure and 3–6 years of senior accounting experience within public accounting, with oversight of client portfolios.

The Tax Manager I will supervise engagements, develop new client relationships, and work closely with partners to provide tax services to individuals, partnerships and corporations.

Qualifications

• CPA license and 3–6 years of senior accounting experience required.
• Experience supervising staff and managing client engagements.
• Strong knowledge of tax services for individuals and entities.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and complete routine engagements.
• Supervise Tax Associates and Seniors to provide feedback.
• Develop new client contacts and relationships.
• Assist firm administration as directed by partners.
• Identify opportunities to provide additional services.
• Maintain knowledge of firm policies and procedures.
