Job summary

Calibre CPA Group seeks an Audit Manager to lead multiple audit and tax engagements, acting as primary client contact and driving engagement profitability. You will mentor staff, ensure timely tax work, and contribute to business development while maintaining strong client relationships.

Responsibilities include planning engagements, reviewing workpapers, and communicating findings to principals. Local and overnight travel to client sites is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting from an accredited college/university.
• Minimum five years of audit experience.
• Minimum of four years of supervisory experience.
• CPA certification.
• Experience with Not-for-profit, Employee Benefit Plans, and Commercial entities.

Responsibilities

• Manage multiple attest engagements to deliver high-quality audits and client service.
• Plan, schedule, and facilitate completion of attest engagements.
• Review audit plans and budgets; monitor team performance to meet realization goals.
• Ensure tax returns are completed and reviewed in a timely manner.
• Review documents and evidential matters; ensure quality control notes are closed timely.
• Provide insightful operational advice and recommend process improvements.
• Maintain client relationships and communicate results to principals.
• Travel locally and overnight to client sites.
