Qualifikationen

• 10+ years of recent tax compliance experience.
• Public accounting experience preferred.
• CPA or Bar licence required.
• Strong experience with S-Corporation, C-Corporation, Partnership and individual taxation.
• Experience across Real Estate, Manufacturing & Distribution, Retail or Services.
• Previous experience supervising and developing tax professionals.
• Strong technical research and communication skills.
• Confidence managing client relationships independently.
• Ability to oversee multiple engagements and meet deadlines.

Aufgaben

• Manage all aspects of annual federal and state tax compliance engagements.
• Review and sign tax returns for S-Corporations, C-Corporations, Partnerships and individuals.
• Identify tax-saving opportunities and potential tax exposures.
• Provide proactive tax planning advice to business owners.
• Oversee tax projections, extensions and quarterly estimated payments.
• Research technical tax matters and prepare client memoranda.
• Manage responses to IRS and state tax notices.
• Take responsibility for engagement scheduling, budgets and billing.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients.
• Supervise, train and develop junior tax professionals.
• Ensure client deliverables and statutory deadlines are met.
