Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or equivalent.
• 6 years of progressive corporate tax experience required.
• Experience with federal tax controversy as part of a Big 4 firm or large corporate tax team.

Responsibilities

• Lead federal tax examinations and manage controversy with internal and external stakeholders.
• Draft responses to IDRs and official notices with timely, high‑quality submissions.
• Develop proactive compliance processes and internal controls to reduce audit risk.
• Evaluate complex tax positions under ASC 740 and document positions with supporting memoranda.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional accounting and business teams to align tax planning with OKRs.
• Leverage AI‑driven tax research and automation to monitor legislation and synthesize regulatory impacts for leadership.
