Qualifications

• 8 years of experience in federal tax compliance and consulting in a professional services firm.
• 4-year degree CPA, Law License, Enrolled Agent.
• Eligibility to work in the U.S. without sponsorship preferred.

Responsibilities

• Be a trusted member of the engagement team providing federal tax compliance and consulting services to industry-specific clients.
• Be a valued tax business advisor, lead client relationships on day-to-day tax matters with clients ranging from middle market to multinational.
• Consult on technical matters and special projects in corporate and flow through taxation, accounting methods, and ASC740.
• Research tax matters, respond to IRS and other tax authority inquiries, and make recommendations to the client.
• Coordinate with specialty tax practices on complex state/local, high net worth, international, R&D, credits and incentives matters.
• Manage client engagement staffing, billings/collections, and ensure client profitability targets are met.
• Utilize entrepreneurial skills to network and build relationships to acquire new clients, projects, and revenue.
• Invest in professional development individually and through firm-wide programs.
• Support growth and development of team members through Baker Tilly Care and Teach philosophy.
