Talently, a respected boutique CPA firm in California, is seeking a Senior Tax Manager. This role moves you from reviewer to trusted advisor for families and business owners, with real ownership of a diverse client base and direct access to firm leadership.

This is a tax-focused, hands-on leadership position, not a processing seat. If you want to run complex work yourself and grow others along the way, this one is worth a conversation.

Formación

• Active CPA with roughly 6 to 8 years in public accounting, ready to manage clients independently.
• Deep experience with individual, trust, and pass-through returns, beyond high-volume 1040 prep
• Strong working knowledge of QuickBooks and Excel
• Highly organized and proactive, able to carry a full client load without dropping a ball
• Comfortable with a full in-office ramp-up before moving to a mostly flexible schedule

Responsabilidades

• Take complex individual, trust, and business returns from first draft to final sign-off
• Coach junior team members through their work and raise the bar on what leaves the door
• Dig into new guidance and turn it into practical, plain-English advice for clients
• Partner directly with firm leadership on the tough technical calls
• Spot planning opportunities before clients ask and bring them to the table
• Build the kind of trust where owners and families see you as their go-to advisor
