Job summary

DMJPS PLLC in Mooresville, NC is seeking a Tax Senior Manager or Manager to build and grow client relationships, provide tax planning, coach staff, and review tax returns.

You will conduct tax research and collaborate with clients across individuals, partnerships, trusts, and corporations, with opportunity for leadership and succession in a growing firm.

Qualifications

• BA/BS in Accounting; Masters preferred.
• CPA with at least 7 years of experience in public accounting.
• Experience with tax planning and compliance for individuals, partnerships, trusts and corporations (multi-state filings preferred).
• Gift tax experience is a bonus.

Responsibilities

• Build and grow client relationships and serve as a trusted advisor.
• Provide tax planning and compliance for individuals, partnerships, trusts and corporations.
• Coach and support staff; lead and develop team.
• Prepare and review tax returns; perform tax research.
• Participate in future succession planning.

We are looking for a Tax Senior Manager or Manager to build and grow client relationships, provide tax planning, coach and support staff, prepare and review tax returns, perform tax research, and more. This position is open due to growth and future succession planning.

Requirements include:

• BA/BS Accounting (Masters in Accounting or Taxation preferred)
• CPA with at least 7 years of experience in public accounting
• Tax review experience
• Experience with tax planning and compliance needs for individuals, partnerships, trusts and corporations (experience with multi-state filings preferred).
• Gift tax experience is a bonus
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Experience with CCH Axcess (preferred)
• Strong problem-solving skills
• Excellent client interpersonal skills
• Ability to direct and lead others
