Position: Tax Manager
Location: 100% Remote / Mid-sized public accounting firm

Salary: $110,000 - $150,000 per year

We are seeking a Tax Manager to join our growing public accounting team. In this role, you will be responsible for managing all tax-related activities, including compliance, reporting, planning, and advising. You will need to have a strong understanding of tax, financial analysis, tax preparation, and financial accounting. We have a great client base of small, mid-sized, and large corporations that keeps our mid-sized Tax firm going.

Qualifications:

• A bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. A master's degree or professional certification (such as CPA, ACCA, or CTA) would be an advantage.
• At least 4+ years of experience in a similar role in a public accounting firm.
• Comprehensive knowledge of tax law, financial accounting, corporate tax, international tax, and indirect taxation.
• Proven experience in tax preparation, tax compliance, tax planning, and financial audits.
• Strong financial analysis skills, with the ability to interpret complex financial data and provide actionable insights.
• Excellent leadership and team management skills, with a track record of developing and motivating high-performing teams.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
• High level of integrity, professionalism, and discretion, with the ability to handle sensitive information confidentially.
• Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to think strategically and make sound decisions under pressure.
• Proficiency in tax accounting software and other relevant IT systems.
• Ability to stay updated with the latest industry trends and changes in tax law.
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously, prioritizing effectively to meet deadlines.
