Job summary

Archer Lewis, LLC seeks a Senior Tax Manager in Anchorage in a hybrid, remote-capable role. You will oversee complex tax engagements, manage client relationships, and lead tax staff while supporting firm leadership on strategy and growth.

You’ll collaborate with leadership, handle high‑level tax planning, and help transition clients as the firm scales. A CPA and 7+ years in public accounting are required.

Qualifications

• CPA license required.
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (Master’s in Taxation preferred).
• 7+ years of experience in public accounting with strong tax technical expertise.
• Demonstrated success managing tax engagements and client relationships.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a fully remote environment while collaborating with a distributed team.

As we continue to grow and invest in the future of the firm, we are seeking a Senior Tax Manager to join our team in a hybrid role. What You’ll Do

The Senior Tax Manager will oversee complex tax engagements, manage client relationships, and provide technical and strategic support to our leadership team. This is a remote position with the opportunity to assist in taking over an established client base and support the principal with firm management duties. For the right individual, this role offers significant growth potential, including future leadership or partnership opportunities.

• Lead and review complex tax engagements for individuals, corporations, partnerships, and trusts.

What You’ll Bring

• Active Certified Public Accountant (CPA) license required.


• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (Master’s in Taxation preferred).


• 7+ years of experience in public accounting, with strong technical tax expertise.


• Demonstrated success managing tax engagements and client relationships.


• Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills.


• Ability to work effectively in a fully remote environment while collaborating with a distributed team.

Compensation Range

$145,000—$155,000 USD
