Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance; CPA licensure or active pursuit.
• 3–5 years of public accounting experience focused on tax.
• Experience preparing and reviewing corporate, individual, partnership, and other tax returns.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills; ability to interact with clients and colleagues.
• Strong organizational and time management skills; ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Accurately prepare corporate, individual, partnership, and other tax returns in compliance with regulations.
• Review tax returns prepared by Associates for accuracy and compliance.
• Take on in-charge responsibilities for specific tax engagements and oversee workflow.
• Serve as primary contact for clients and foster strong relationships.
• Proactively manage tax return processes and accounting projects from start to finish.
• Contribute to engagement efficiency through planning and organization.
• Provide timely updates to team on engagement status.
• Collaborate with team to develop additional accounting services for clients.
• Organize workflow across multiple engagements to meet deadlines.
• Begin to develop a specialized area of tax expertise.
