RRC Solutions Group in Columbus, OH seeks a Senior Tax Manager to lead complex tax engagements, mentor staff, and drive client service excellence. The role focuses on tax compliance, planning, and advisory services for a varied client base, including business and individual taxpayers.

Ideal candidates hold an active CPA, have 8+ years in public accounting, and demonstrate strong leadership, business development, and communication skills to grow the firm and manage multiple engagements

Qualifications

• CPA license is mandatory.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting required; Master’s preferred.
• Minimum 8 years of progressive tax experience in a public accounting environment.
• Proven ability to manage complex tax engagements and client relationships.
• Strong leadership, staff development, and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Deliver tax compliance, planning, and advisory services for a varied client portfolio.
• Oversee and review federal, state, and local returns and workpapers.
• Act as strategic advisor, aligning solutions with client objectives.
• Forge relationships with client executives and owners.
• Manage multiple engagements with planning, staffing, budgeting, timelines, deliverables.
• Drive firm growth through proactive client service and guidance.
• Contribute to business development through networking and proposals.
• Mentor and develop Managers, Seniors, and Staff Accountants.
• Stay updated on tax law changes and industry developments.
