Job summary

LeoForce in Auburn, WA is seeking a Senior Tax & Assurance Accountant to join our public accounting team in a hybrid role. You will manage tax and assurance engagements, prepare GAAP-compliant financial statements, and advise clients across a diverse portfolio of closely held businesses and individuals.

The position requires 4+ years in public accounting, strong client communication, and experience with reviews, compilations, and tax returns for various entity types.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of public accounting experience.
• Recent experience preparing Reviews and Compilations.
• Experience preparing tax returns for individuals, partnerships, and corporations.
• Experience preparing financial statements in accordance with GAAP.
• Strong client-facing communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and manage Review and Compilation engagements for business clients.
• Prepare GAAP-based financial statements and related disclosures.
• Prepare and review individual, partnership, S-Corporation, and corporate tax returns.
• Work directly with business owners to provide accounting, tax, and advisory support.
• Assist clients with QuickBooks support, troubleshooting, and accounting best practices.
• Research tax and accounting issues and provide practical solutions to clients.
• Reconcile accounting records and assist with financial statement preparation.
• Support small and mid-sized businesses with a variety of accounting and compliance needs.
