About the Team:
A finance department’s activities can have a tremendous impact on an organization and its general performance; eXp Realty is no exception. Our finance team provides critical information to leadership for effective management and successful outcomes. We work closely with management throughout the organization, manage equity, identify risk management, ensure cash flow management as well as handle tax management. As a successful member of the finance team, you will problem solve, be highly analytical, extremely detail-oriented, and be a top-notch communicator.
What you will do:
The Senior Tax Associate will be a key addition to the Finance Department as eXp continues its rapid global expansion. eXp is looking for a highly motivated and experienced tax professional.
The Senior Tax Associate is part of the Tax Organization that provides global tax compliance, planning, transfer pricing, tax reporting, special projects, and tax audit defense for the Company primarily focused on handling US income tax compliance. This role will collaborate with other members of the Tax Organization and external advisors to ensure proper execution of federal, state/local, and US international tax reporting.
This position will work closely with Legal, Finance, Accounting, and Treasury teams to ensure proper data collection, reporting, and retention. Further, this position will handle US income tax compliance and support ASC 740, Domestic Tax Manager, during quarterly tax provision preparation. A successful candidate will possess keen analytical skills and experience with tax provision and compliance software (CorpTax and Oracle experience is required). The associate will also have strong communication and managerial skills with the ability to interface with multiple groups within tax as well as across functional groups outside the tax function. The associate must be a self-motivated team player with GAAP and tax technical experience, leadership and organizational skills, effective and efficient communication, good project management, a history of producing high-quality timely work product, and intellectual curiosity. The associate must strive for continuous improvement in process, deliverables, leadership, and professional expertise.
