The Alliance Group in Miami is seeking a Senior Tax Associate to join its tax team, offering broad exposure to corporate tax matters and leadership interaction. This role involves preparation and review of federal, state, and local returns and collaboration with senior staff.

You will support tax provisions, multi-state compliance, and tax research while maintaining up-to-date knowledge of federal and state taxation and ASC 740 requirements, with opportunities for career growth under experienced

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• 2–4+ years of relevant tax experience.
• Public accounting experience preferred.
• Strong knowledge of federal and state income taxation.
• Experience preparing and/or reviewing tax returns and supporting workpapers.
• CPA or CPA candidate preferred.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to manage multiple deadlines.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Responsabilités

• Prepare and review federal, state, and local income tax returns.
• Assist with corporate, partnership, and/or individual tax compliance.
• Prepare quarterly and annual tax provisions and related workpapers.
• Perform tax research and analyze technical tax issues.
• Prepare and review multistate income and franchise tax returns.
• Collaborate with accounting and finance teams on tax-related matters.
• Assist with special projects and process improvement initiatives.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of diverse US federal and state & local tax legislation and US GAAP financial statement reporting requirements for taxes (ASC 740).
