Job summary

You will prepare and review federal, state, and local returns for individuals, partnerships, trusts, and corporations, and assist with multi-state taxation strategies.

The role includes researching tax matters, mentoring junior staff, and coordinating engagement workflows in a hybrid remote/office setup. CPA/EA progress toward certification preferred.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of progressive tax experience in public accounting
• Strong knowledge in individual, partnership, S corp, trust, gift tax
• Experience with multi-entity and multi-state taxation issues
• Organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills
• Experience performing tax research conclusions

Responsibilities

• Support client relationships with day-to-day communication and responsive tax advisory services
• Assist with tax planning strategies for various entities
• Prepare and review federal, state, and local tax returns
• Research technical tax matters and prepare memoranda on taxation topics
• Monitor tax law updates and industry developments
• Mentor junior team members and review workpapers and deliverables
• Coordinate engagement workflows, deadlines, and client deliverables
• Manage multiple engagements with attention to detail and high-quality service
