Eide Bailly LLP is seeking a tax professional in a hybrid in-office role across Denver, Boulder, Fort Collins, and Grand Junction, CO. The position focuses on preparing tax returns for individuals and businesses, collaborating with the tax team on planning and projects, and gathering client information for accurate filings.

The candidate should have a Bachelor's degree in Accounting, 2–4 years of tax experience, and a CPA license preferred (EA accepted).

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting is required.
• CPA license preferred; Enrolled Agent (EA) certification also accepted.
• 2-4 years of tax experience within public accounting.
• Knowledge of tax accounting principles and IRS regulations.
• Stays up-to-date on tax industry regulations and policies.
• Self-starter who can work independently and in a team.
• Ability to focus on complex tasks and understand the firm's compliance processes.

Responsibilities

• Prepares individual, business and other types of tax returns for clients in various entities and industries.
• Working with the tax team to ensure tax process components are performed, including tax planning, client interaction and special tax projects.
• Gathering relevant tax-related information from the client for accurate tax returns.
• Reviewing tax situations to maximize tax benefits.
• Developing and communicating solutions to the engagement team and client.
• Preparing accounting-related reports in a paperless office environment.
• Trains and mentors lower-level employees in the tax department.
• Attends training seminars, professional development and networking events.
