Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting required.
• CPA license preferred; Enrolled Agent (EA) accepted.
• 2–4 years tax experience in public accounting.
• Strong knowledge of tax accounting principles and IRS regulations.
• Keeps up-to-date with changing tax regulations.
• Self-starter who works well independently and in a team.

Responsibilities

• Prepare high-level returns for multi-million-dollar businesses or high net worth individuals.
• Collaborate with tax team on planning, client interaction, and special tax projects.
• Gather client information to produce accurate tax returns.
• Assess tax scenarios to maximize tax benefits.
• Develop solutions and communicate them to engagement team and client.
• Prepare accounting-related reports in a paperless environment.
• Train and mentor lower-level tax staff.
• Attend training, professional development, and networking events.
