Caliber Recruiting Group represents a boutique family-operated accounting firm in the Charlotte, NC area seeking a Senior Tax Associate with 3–4 years of tax prep and review experience. The role offers a fast track to promotion, with salary in the $95k–$135k range and a schedule described as employee-friendly with capped hours.

You will prep and review returns for diverse entities and individuals, input data into CCH, Pro System, and Ultra Tax, and coordinate with the IRS as needed.

Qualifications

• 3–4 years of solid tax prep and review experience in a local accounting environment.
• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or related field.
• CPA eligible or in progress is ideal; EA is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and review tax returns for various entities (C-Corps, S-Corps, Partnerships) and individuals.
• Enter data into tax software (CCH, Pro System, Ultra Tax) and ensure compliance with firm guidelines.
• Coordinate with IRS as needed and collaborate with partners on special cases.
