Job summary

MSTiller, LLC in Georgia is seeking a Tax Senior Associate with 5+ years of tax accounting experience to join a growth-oriented firm and help clients navigate complex tax matters.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or higher is required.
• Master in Taxation or Master of Accountancy with a tax focus is preferred.
• CPA or progress toward CPA is required.
• Experience with tax software (preferably CCH Axcess) and willingness to learn new software.
• 2–5 years' experience preparing complex tax returns (individual, partnership, corporate, S-Corp).
• Ability to manage multiple projects and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
• Customer service oriented—enjoy working with clients and understanding their businesses.

Responsibilities

• Serve clients with complex tax needs.
• Prepare tax returns for individuals, partnerships, fiduciaries, tax-exempt entities, and other types.
• Prepare income tax projections with multiple scenarios and complex analysis.
• Interact with client personnel to obtain necessary information for tax services.
• Supervise and act as a technical resource to less experienced Tax Staff.

We are looking for someone with the below qualifications - -

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting
• Master in Taxation or Master of Accountancy with a tax focus
• CPA or have passed part of the CPA Exam already
• Experience with tax software (preferably CCH Axcess) with the desire to quickly learn new software packages
• Two - five years' experience in preparing complex individual, partnership, corporate and S-Corp tax returns as well as the research of tax issues
• Works well with managing a variety of projects and thrives in a fast-paced environment
• Customer service oriented – really enjoys people and getting to know our clients, their businesses and the industries that they operate in.
• Works well independently or as part of a team

As a Senior Tax Associate, you will be involved in –

• Serving a client with complex tax needs
• Preparation of individual, partnership, fiduciary, tax-exempt and other types of tax returns
• Preparation of income tax projections that involve multiple scenarios and complex analysis
• Interactions with client personnel to obtain information essential to delivering tax services
• Supervising and serving as a technical resource to lesser experience Tax Staff members
