The ideal candidate is a CPA with strong public accounting tax experience, demonstrated ability to supervise staff, manage client relationships, and drive proactive tax

Qualifications

• Active CPA license required.
• 5+ years of recent public accounting experience focused on tax.
• 2+ years of experience supervising staff and reviewing tax returns.
• Direct responsibility for managing team workloads, deadlines, and client relationships.
• Strong expertise in complex individual and business tax returns, partnership, S corporation, and small-business tax.

Responsibilities

• Tax Advisory & Client Relationships: Serve as a senior tax advisor to individuals, families, and small-business owners; provide proactive tax planning and strategic guidance.
• Technical Tax & Accounting Oversight: Oversee tax preparation, accounting engagements, and quality; review complex tax returns and ensure regulatory compliance.
• Team Leadership & Development: Lead and develop an established team; assign priorities and coach staff.
• Practice Management & Growth: Partner with ownership to guide strategy, growth, pricing, and client retention.
