Job summary

Manay CPA, a global, full-service accounting and advisory firm, seeks a senior CPA/EA to lead tax planning and advisory for diverse clients. You will manage tax, accounting, payroll, and financial operations, while ensuring compliance with US tax laws and delivering strategic guidance.

Collaborate with sales to expand client base, mentor junior staff, and drive process improvements with QuickBooks and UltraTax. Relocation to Marietta is a plus; a chance to join a high-growth team.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, business administration, economics, or related field.
• CPA license or Enrolled Agent credential required.
• 5+ years of accounting and tax experience focused on tax planning.
• Public accounting experience preferred.
• Proven tax strategy and planning beyond compliance.
• Experience in client acquisition and business development.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook.
• Experience with QuickBooks and UltraTax.

Responsibilities

• Manage clients' financial operations including taxation, accounting, bookkeeping, and payroll management.
• Ensure US tax law compliance with timely tax filings and payments.
• Lead tax planning and advisory for assigned clients to reduce tax liability.
• Collaborate with sales and business development to originate new client opportunities.
• Manage AR/AP processes and tight reconciliation.
• Maintain meticulous financial records using accounting software.
• Mentor junior accounting staff and foster teamwork.
• Assist in client onboarding and audits as needed.
• Analyze financial data to improve performance and efficiency.
• Drive automation of processes to streamline accounting tasks.
