Job summary

FTI Consulting in the United States seeks a tax professional to lead day-to-day workflow and ensure timely tax return completion. You will manage compliance tasks, stay current on tax rules, and work with real estate clients, REITs, and private equity funds on complex filings.

Strong communication and leadership are essential. You will engage with high-visibility clients, develop technical skills, and grow within a collaborative, fast-paced team environment focused on professional development

Qualifications

• Undergraduate or graduate degree in Accounting.
• 3+ years of post-graduate work experience.
• Education in compliance with CPA exam requirements.
• Experience in partnership or individual taxation.
• Travel to clients and FTI offices may be required.
• Authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis; visa sponsorship not provided.

Responsibilities

• Review Corporate, Partnership, Individual, Trust, Nonprofit, and Gift tax returns.
• Highlight tax issues or unusual relationships from financial statements and tax documents.
• Document tax compliance forms as defined in planning.
• Assign and review work papers; assist in correspondence to tax authorities.
• Research tax questions and client inquiries.
• Grow tax knowledge across various states.
• Collaborate with staff and provide training to team members.
• Develop client relationships and understand client industries.
• Support real estate clients including REITs and private equity funds.
• Use technology to streamline tax preparation and reporting processes.
