Job summary

NACBA, based in Northern Virginia, seeks a Senior Accountant to join our CPA and advisory team in-office. You will prepare federal and state tax returns for individuals and businesses, assist with tax research and planning, and collaborate closely with partners, managers, and clients.

The role emphasizes mentoring, technical skill development, and delivering exceptional client service in a collaborative environment. It is a full-time, in-office position with peak-season extended hours.

Qualifications

• BS Accounting degree required
• CPA license required
• 3–5 years public accounting experience preferred
• Strong analytical, organizational and communication skills
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, Teams) desired

Responsibilities

• Assist with services to Outsourced CFO clients.
• Prepare federal and state tax returns for individuals and businesses.
• Assist with tax research and tax planning projects.
• Work directly with partners, managers, and clients.
• Develop technical and client-service skills through mentorship and hands-on experience.
