Pattillo, Brown & Hill, L.L.P. (PB&H) is growing and seeking a Tax Senior for our Temple, Texas office. You will be a trusted advisor to clients, mentor staff, and contribute to a culture of collaboration, integrity, and innovation.

As a Tax Senior, you’ll oversee monthly tax tasks, prepare returns across multiple entity types, and work with partners on special projects. A CPA and 5+ years of progressive tax experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree with 30+ hours of accounting coursework.
• Hands-on experience with federal, state and local tax compliance.
• CPA certification required.

Responsibilities

• Lead monthly tax and financial reporting tasks.
• Prepare and review tax returns (various forms).
• Manage payroll processing and related filings (941s, W‑2s, 1099s).
• Advise clients on federal, state, and local tax matters.
• Engage with tax authorities as needed.
• Mentor junior staff and provide training.
• Leverage Excel and firm systems to streamline workflows.
