Job summary

Andersen Tax LLC is seeking a Senior Associate for its Private Client Services practice in Orange County, CA. The role focuses on managing engagements for sophisticated clients, including wealthy families and family offices, with emphasis on tax planning, compliance, and advisory services.

Staff will review complex returns, mentor junior teammates, and collaborate with partners to deliver strategic solutions.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of tax experience
• Bachelor’s and/or advanced degree (MAcc, MST, JD) in Accounting, Finance, Economics or related (Preferred).
• Advanced credential or desire to obtain advanced credential allowing for IRS client representation (CPA or JD)
• Self-starter with initiative in a fast-paced environment
• Proficient use of technology

Responsibilities

• Review and prepare complex tax returns
• Engage in tax planning and consulting processes
• Collaborate with engagement team to research complex client issues and propose solutions
• Draft technical tax memoranda
• Provide regular client updates
• Assist in project management of engagements
• Supervise, train and mentor Associates and Interns
• Receive PCS and on-the-job training from top tax leaders
