Job summary

Andersen is seeking Senior Associates for its Private Accounting Solutions practice in Orange County, CA. You will participate in accounting planning and consulting for executives, entrepreneurs, and business entities, tackling complex issues and leading teams.

Responsibilities include GAAP/OCBOA financial statements, general ledger work, accounting research, and project management, with opportunities for mentorship and formal training from industry leaders.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of relevant experience (Audit & Assurance / Outsourced Accounting teams within an Accounting firm preferred).
• Bachelor’s and/or relevant advanced degree (MAcc, MST, JD).
• Accounting, Finance, Economics or related degree (Preferred).
• Minimum GPA of 3.0.
• Advanced credential or desire to obtain advanced credential (i.e. CPA).
• Self-starter with the initiative to seek out opportunities and ability to work successfully in a fast-paced, high-pressured environment.
• Proficient use of technology.

Responsibilities

• Identify complex accounting and financial reporting issues, including producing and reviewing financial statements on GAAP basis and OCBOA.
• Perform accounting and general ledger functions.
• Identify financial-related issues.
• Perform advanced accounting research.
• Assist in project management.
• Supervise and participate in the professional development of Associates, Paraprofessionals and Interns; provide training and feedback.
