Job summary

EisnerAmper is a leading accounting and advisory firm seeking a Tax Senior Associate to join its Private Client Services team in Chicago. The role focuses on coordinating engagements, preparing tax returns, and providing planning services for individuals, trusts, and entities.

The position offers opportunities to mentor interns and associates in a collaborative environment with a culture of accountability and client-focused outcomes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or equivalent field.
• 4+ years of recent tax compliance and/or tax consulting experience in public accounting or with a mix of public/private experience.
• Experience preparing tax returns for individuals, trust/estates, and/or entities.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate, plan, and supervise multiple engagements which include consulting, compliance, and tax planning services.
• Prepare federal, state, multi-state and international income tax returns.
• Conduct research and planning according to applicable tax laws and regulations.
• Appropriately respond to IRS and state tax notices.
• Communicate with clients as directed by Manager.
• Work as part of an integrated team.
• Assist with the training and mentoring of Interns and Associates.
