Job summary

CyberCoders is seeking an experienced Tax Senior to join our growing team in Phoenix, Arizona. This role focuses on building client relationships, mentoring staff, and delivering diverse tax engagements for individuals, partnerships, S corporations, and corporations.

You will lead tax planning, research complex issues, and stay updated on evolving tax laws while collaborating with managers and partners to deliver high-quality service.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field.
• CPA license required or in good standing.
• 3+ years of recent public accounting tax experience.
• Strong knowledge of individual, business, trust, and estate taxation.
• Experience preparing and reviewing complex tax returns.
• Excellent communication and client service skills.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple deadlines.
• Proficiency with tax software and Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and review federal and state tax returns for individuals, partnerships, S corporations, C corporations, trusts, and estates.
• Develop tax planning strategies to minimize client tax liabilities and support long-term financial goals.
• Research complex tax issues and prepare clear, well-supported conclusions.
• Build and maintain client relationships by serving as a trusted advisor.
• Mentor and review the work of junior staff while providing coaching and technical guidance.
• Assist managers and partners with tax engagements, client consulting, and special projects.
• Stay current on changing federal and state tax laws and regulations.
