H&R Block, Inc. is seeking a year-round Block Advisor Tax Advisor to help clients navigate complex tax and business scenarios. You will prepare accurate returns, uncover savings, and build lasting client relationships using our training and technology.

This in-person role supports diverse individuals and businesses, with a focus on client-first service, tax planning, and ongoing learning. You’ll be part of a collaborative Block Advisors office that values accuracy and client care.

Qualifications

• HS diploma or equivalent required; CPA/EA or related credentials preferred
• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or related field preferred
• Experience with GoSystem or UltraTax is a plus
• 5+ years in tax preparation, accounting, finance, or bookkeeping
• Experience in client-facing, consultative or advisory roles

Responsibilities

• Prepare complete, accurate tax returns for clients with diverse and complex tax situations.
• Conduct in-depth client interviews to understand financials and tax implications, then provide recommendations.
• Build year-round client relationships with empathetic, consultative service and identify tax savings opportunities.
• Provide IRS support, tax notice assistance, and audit guidance as needed.
• Collaborate with team members to maintain a positive, client-focused office environment.
