Qualifications

5+ years of experience in tax preparation, accounting, finance, or bookkeeping.
Experience preparing complex individual returns and business returns, including tax planning and audit support.
Strong verbal and written communication; ability to explain tax concepts to clients.
Must complete continuing education and meet IRS/state requirements.

Responsibilities

Prepare complete, accurate tax returns for clients with diverse tax situations.
Conduct in-depth client interviews to understand financials and tax implications.
Build year-round client relationships by delivering consultative service and identifying savings opportunities.
Provide IRS support, tax notice assistance, and audit guidance as needed.
