Job summary

You will work directly with business owners and individuals, taking ownership of client relationships and providing proactive tax guidance beyond tax season.

You will prepare and review various tax returns, deliver planning support, and contribute to client service excellence.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of public accounting experience with a strong focus on tax.
• Experience preparing individual, partnership, and corporate tax returns.
• Strong knowledge of tax compliance and tax planning principles.
• Experience preparing and reviewing financial statements.
• Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving abilities.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines during busy season.
• Proficiency with tax software, accounting systems, spreadsheets, and electronic workpapers.
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and review individual, partnership, corporate, and pass-through entity tax returns.
• Provide tax planning and advisory support to business owners and individual clients.
• Build and maintain long-term client relationships throughout the year.
• Prepare and review financial statements.
• Provide bookkeeping and accounting support for client engagements.
• Research tax matters and identify opportunities for planning and improvement.
• Communicate complex tax concepts in a practical, client-friendly manner.
• Partner with clients to help achieve their personal and business financial goals.
• Collaborate with firm leadership and colleagues to deliver high-quality client service.
• Contribute to process improvements and the continued growth of the firm's tax practice.
