Job summary

H&R Block, Inc. is seeking a year-round Block Advisor Tax Advisor to prepare complete tax returns for clients with diverse and complex situations, including individuals and businesses.

You will conduct in-depth client interviews, provide personalized recommendations, and build lasting relationships while delivering tax savings opportunities and Block Advisors products. You will offer empathetic, consultative service with a focus on client needs, and provide IRS support and audit guidance as

Qualifications

• Successful completion of the H&R Block Tax Knowledge Assessment
• 5+ years of experience in tax preparation, accounting, finance, or bookkeeping
• Experience preparing complex individual and business returns, including tax planning and audit support
• Experience in a client-facing, consultative, or advisory role
• Strong verbal and written communication skills, able to explain tax concepts clearly
• Must meet continuing education and IRS/state requirements
• High school diploma or GED accepted
