Job summary

KBR is seeking a Senior Manager, Tax Accounting to lead US tax provisions, reporting, and compliance under ASC 740. You will partner with Accounting, FP&A, Treasury, and Legal to drive accurate financial disclosures and tax strategy.

The role requires 8+ years in tax/accounting, CPA preferred, and strong Excel and cross-functional collaboration. Flexible arrangements include hybrid/remote options across the US.

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of ASC 740 and US corporate income tax principles.
• Ability to research tax and accounting issues and provide practical recommendations.
• Experience supporting audits, financial reporting, or tax-related compliance activities.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and review quarterly and annual ASC 740 income tax provisions and related disclosures.
• Coordinate with Corporate Accounting and SEC Reporting for accurate tax reporting in financial statements.
• Assist with federal, state, and local income tax compliance and timely filings.
• Support tax planning initiatives and respond to audits and regulatory inquiries.
• Help maintain SOX controls and documentation related to tax accounting and reporting.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to improve tax processes and automation.
