Job summary

KBR seeks a Senior Manager, Tax Accounting to lead U.S. tax accounting, provisions, and related financial reporting. You will partner with Accounting, FP&A, Treasury, and Legal to ensure accurate tax disclosures and regulatory compliance.

The role requires extensive ASC 740 experience, strong analytical skills, and a CPA or equivalent certification. Flexible hybrid work options are available in the Houston/DC area to support work-life balance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Taxation, or related field.
• 8+ years of progressive tax, accounting, or financial reporting experience.
• Experience with ASC 740 and U.S. federal/state tax compliance.
• CPA or equivalent certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and review ASC 740 income tax provisions and related disclosures.
• Collaborate with Accounting, FP&A, Treasury, and Legal on tax reporting.
• Support federal, state, and local tax compliance activities and filings.
• Research tax accounting issues and changes in tax regulations.
• Assist with SOX compliance and internal controls related to tax accounting.
