Job summary

CyberCoders is seeking a Tax Senior for our Chicago-area office. You will prepare and review federal and state returns for diverse clients, lead tax projects, and mentor staff to ensure timely, high-quality service.

You will collaborate with Managers and Partners on complex matters and stay current with evolving tax laws, contributing to planning initiatives and advisory projects in a collaborative, growth-focused firm culture.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of Public Accounting experience.
• Experience working for a CPA firm.
• Generalist tax experience with multiple entity types.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and review federal and state tax returns for individuals, partnerships, S corporations, C corporations, trusts, and nonprofit organizations.
• Perform tax research and assist with tax planning and consulting projects.
• Manage multiple client engagements and ensure timely delivery of services.
• Develop and maintain strong client relationships.
• Review work prepared by staff accountants and provide coaching and mentorship.
• Work directly with Managers and Partners on complex tax matters and special projects.
• Stay current on changing tax laws and regulations.
