A well-established, full-service Top 500 accounting and advisory firm in St. Louis is seeking a motivated Senior Tax Accountant to join its growing tax practice.

This is an excellent opportunity to work with a collaborative, people-first firm that offers strong client exposure, professional development, and flexible work arrangements. This role focuses on preparing and reviewing tax returns, performing research, and providing planning and consulting services to diverse clients.

Competenze

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or a related field.
• CPA or CPA candidate preferred.
• Minimum of 3 years of public accounting experience.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple engagements independently.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office; tax software experience preferred.
• Experience with attestation or accounting services is a plus.

Mansioni

• Prepare and review federal, state, and local tax returns and supporting workpapers
• Perform tax research and analyze complex tax matters
• Review tax notices and prepare responses to IRS and state agencies
• Support tax planning, projections, and estimated payment calculations
• Ensure client records are accurate, compliant, and properly documented
• Provide tax compliance and consulting services to a diverse client base
• Assist with managing, developing, and coaching professional staff
• Build and maintain strong client relationships
