Job summary

Rnraccountants in Rapid City, SD is seeking an experienced Senior Tax Accountant to join our growing tax and accounting team. You will focus on preparing business and individual tax returns and collaborating with colleagues on complex filings.

This full-time role requires 3–5 years of accounting experience, knowledge of Drake Tax, QuickBooks, Xero, and Excel, and a CPA is highly preferred or can sit for exams. Monday–Friday, on-site in Rapid City.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• 3-5 years of experience in an accounting role; public accounting experience preferred.
• CPA certification is highly preferred, or ability to sit for CPA exams.
• Proficiency with QuickBooks, Sage, Xero, or similar platforms.
• Excellent client communication skills with the ability to explain tax concepts clearly and professionally.
