Salary Mid-Point: $120,000 Location: Pittsburgh PA Job Type: Permanent IFG is actively recruiting a Senior Tax Accountant to manage multi-state indirect tax compliance across its North American operations. Reporting to the Tax Manager, this role is responsible for preparing and filing sales and use tax, property tax, business licenses, and 1099 filings while ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local regulations.
The Tax Accountant partners closely with Accounting, Finance, Procurement, Supply Chain, Legal, and Sales teams to review transactions, evaluate tax implications, and support day-to-day tax compliance. The key responsibilities include tax reconciliations, audit support, tax research, exemption certificate management, and assisting with month-end and year-end tax processes.
This position will also play a crucial role in contributing to process improvement initiatives, tax automation projects, ERP system enhancements, and acquisition-related activities. The ideal candidate will have experience with multi-state indirect tax compliance, tax technology platforms, ERP systems, and complex regulatory environments.
