They now look for a Senior Tax Accountant with an opportunity to become a manager in the future. Their team has a great collaborative environment and a lot of support. This role is remote, but the successful candidate must live in South Florida to report once or twice per month in the office.

Salary/Hourly Rate:

$90k

Position Overview:

The Senior Tax Accountant will be preparing and filing various tax returns. This role will be responsible in handling compliance and accounting for corporate income taxes.

Responsibilities of the Senior Tax Accountant:

• Prepare and file multi-state, Federal and State tax returns for C-Corporations and Partnerships, including extensions and estimated payments.
• Prepare federal and state consolidated tax returns and interface with corporate operating companies.
• Manage partnership tax returns.
• Identify, research, and resolve tax issues.
• Perform corporate income tax functions, compliance, planning, and accounting.
• Calculate tax basis and implications of proposed transactions.
• Handle voluntary disclosures.
• Analyze tax accounts and maintain communication with tax authorities.
• Continuously research and stay updated with current tax laws and regulations.

Required Experience/Skills for the Senior Tax Accountant:

• Minimum 2 years of experience at another public accounting/CPA firm.
• Knowledge in partnership tax returns.

Preferred Experience/Skills for the Senior Tax Accountant:

• Highly analytical and effective communication skills.
• Attention to detail.

Education Requirements:
