Senior Business Tax Accountant - Work From Home - 3+ Yrs Paid Tax Experience Required

If you are highly motivated, with business tax preparation experience, excellent communication skills, and an active, unrestricted credential (CPA/EA/Practicing Attorney), we need you to assist customers with their taxes using TurboTax Business products.

The successful candidate will manage complex business tax returns for Partnerships and S Corporations, possessing strong knowledge of federal and state tax laws and regulations, and significant experience in preparing and filing business and personal tax returns.

Minimum requirements include:

• At least 3 years of recent experience preparing federal and state business tax returns (1065 and/or 1120-S) for a minimum of 20 clients per season, using commercial tax software.
• Active unrestricted credential: EA, CPA, or Practicing Attorney.
• Preferred: 2+ seasons of personal tax preparation experience, with at least 30 returns per year.
• Availability to work at least 20 hours per week, spread across three or more days.
• Bookkeeping experience is strongly preferred.
• Experience preparing business tax returns for service industry clients is preferred.
• Ability to obtain necessary state licenses, certificates, permits, or bonds.
• Active Preparer Tax Identification Number (PTIN).
• Knowledge of Circular 230, proficiency with technology and software, excellent communication skills, and ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
