Tax season moves fast: high volume, constant client questions, shifting priorities. That part comes with the work. Feeling isolated, undervalued, or buried without backup shouldn't. That's where we're different.
RHW CPAs is a relationship-focused firm in Dublin, Ohio, looking for an experienced tax professional who can carry a strong workload without losing sight of the people behind the returns. We're small enough that the partners know your name and large enough that you're never the only one covering a return. You'll stay busy, especially at peak. You won't be doing it alone.
You'll prepare individual and small business returns (1040, 1120, 1120-S, and 1041) in UltraTax CS and the Thomson Reuters Tax and Accounting suite, working directly with clients to gather information, answer questions, and file accurately and on time.
You'll also own IRS and state notice response and carry clients through to resolution. If you hold your EA and your current role has you preparing only, this is a seat where the representation side of your license actually gets used.
We're a year-round tax and accounting firm, not a seasonal shop. January through April 15 is heavy: long weeks and some required Saturdays. After the deadline it slows down, but the accounting doesn't stop, so you'll carry QuickBooks work for your own clients and year-end close through the rest of the year.
We've also put real work into cutting the manual pieces of the job. Document intake runs on its own and so does chasing clients for what's missing. You won't spend February sending "still need your 1099" emails one at a time.
