Job summary

The candidate will mentor staff and manage multiple client engagements while staying current on tax laws and using modern tax software. The ideal candidate has 3+ years in public accounting, a Bachelor’s in Accounting, and preferably a Master’s in Taxation or CPA

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting required.
• Master’s in Taxation or CPA license preferred.
• 3+ years of recent tax experience in public accounting.
• Strong knowledge of federal and multi-state tax laws.
• Proficiency in tax software and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and review federal, state, and local income tax returns for individuals, corporations, partnerships, and trusts.
• Perform technical tax research and document findings.
• Manage and prioritize multiple client engagements and deliver high-quality service in a timely manner.
• Supervise, mentor, and train junior staff and interns.
