Job summary

The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, with a Master’s in Taxation or CPA license preferred, and at least 3 years of recent tax experience in public accounting.

This individual will be responsible for preparing complex tax returns and providing proactive tax planning and advisory services. This is a hybrid role with a base salary up to $105K

Responsibilities include:

• Prepare and review federal, state, and local income tax returns for individuals, corporations, partnerships, and trusts.
• Perform technical tax research and document findings.
• Manage and prioritize multiple client engagements and deliver high-quality service in a timely manner.
• Supervise, mentor, and train junior staff and interns.
• Identify and communicate tax planning opportunities to clients.
• Develop and maintain strong client relationships through regular communication and responsiveness.
• Assist with IRS and state tax audits and correspondence.
• Stay up to date with changes in tax regulations and accounting standards.
• Use tax software and technology tools effectively to improve efficiency.
