Job summary

Vail Resorts is seeking a Senior Talent Acquisition Specialist to support our iconic Australian alpine resorts—Perisher, Falls Creek and Hotham—through fast-paced, seasonal recruitment. The role offers remote work from anywhere in Australia and a chance to influence the full recruitment lifecycle.

You'll partner with hiring leaders, coach the TA team, lead projects, and drive improvements in onboarding, offboarding, and recruitment systems, leveraging automation and AI.

Qualifications

• End-to-end talent acquisition experience across recruitment environments.
• Experience in high-volume, seasonal, fast-paced recruitment.
• Ability to work under pressure and adapt to peak periods.
• Strong stakeholder partnering skills and confidence handling complex recruitment matters.
• Experience coaching or mentoring TA team members.
• Strong project management and continuous improvement capability.

Responsibilities

• Support recruitment across seasonal, year-round and specialist positions, flexing across the business based on priorities and demand.
• Partner with hiring leaders on priority, complex and hard-to-fill positions, providing practical recruitment advice and workforce planning support.
• Be a senior point of support for the TA team, providing guidance and coaching and helping navigate escalations and complex matters.
• Improve recruitment, onboarding and offboarding processes, creating simpler and more consistent ways of working.
• Lead and support TA projects from planning through to implementation, working with stakeholders across the business.
• Support the optimisation and implementation of recruitment systems, technology and automation.
• Use data, insights and feedback to inform decisions and identify opportunities for improvement.

Senior Talent Acquisition Specialist

We're looking for an experienced Senior Talent Acquisition Specialist to join Vail Resorts and support our iconic Australian alpine resorts - Perisher , Falls Creek and Hotham. Recruitment in the snow industry is fast-paced, varied and highly seasonal. Each year, we build large workforces across hospitality, mountain operations, guest services, snow sports, retail, rental, corporate and specialist roles. This is more than a recruitment delivery role. You'll work across the broader recruitment lifecycle, provide senior support to the TA team and contribute to initiatives spanning early careers, recruitment marketing, workforce planning, international recruitment, onboarding and offboarding, systems, automation and AI. Offering the flexibility to work remotely from anywhere in Australia, this is an initial 12-month fixed-term opportunity with potential for extension or permanency.
