Job summary

CAMC is seeking a Recruiter to manage staffing, screening, and hiring processes across departments. The role liaises with managers to fulfill staffing needs and ensures compliance with employment policies and legal requirements.

The recruiter also coordinates tests, quotes salaries with Compensation, and maintains confidential records. The position requires a Bachelor's Degree in a related field (or an Associate's with substitutions) and hands-on HR experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Related Field required.
• Associate's Degree with 2 years experience or 7 years of comparable experience may substitute for the bachelor's degree.
• Associate's Degree with 5 years related professional experience; substitution options described in the Education section.

Responsibilities

• Act as liaison to managers to source qualified applicants and hire for staffing needs.
• Receive and process requests for additional or replacement personnel in a timely manner.
• Ensure compliance with CAMC employment and promotion/transfer policies and practices, including job offers and credential verification.
• Collaborate with Compensation to quote salaries per CAMC policy.
• Analyze applicants' education, skills, and experience relevant to positions and assign alternate roles when appropriate.
• Provide applicants with information on policies, benefits, duties, and promotional opportunities.
• Coordinate employment tests and interpret results.
• Prepare necessary reports (e.g., vacancy lists).
• Maintain records to comply with Equal Employment Opportunity policies.
• Advise managers on HR policies and potential issues; refer complex cases to Employment Manager.
• Participate in team discussions to improve recruitment processes and selection techniques.
• Observe jobs to understand specific area requirements.
• Maintain confidentiality of all documentation and data.
• Identify causes of employment problems and recommend policy/process improvements.
• Ensure compliance with Federal, State, and local regulations.
• Assist with recruitment activities as needed.
• Prepare and extend job offers and notify applicants of rejection.
• May provide leadership or mentoring to peers.
