Job summary

Equity Commercial Real Estate Solutions is seeking a Senior Talent Acquisition Specialist to join our Human Resources team in Ohio. You will lead recruiting across divisions, manage onboarding for new hires, and administer benefits programs, ensuring a great candidate and employee experience.

In this role you will document processes, partner with hiring managers, and support leave management and benefits communications, contributing to a positive, compliant workplace culture.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in HR or related field.
• 3+ years HR or related field experience.
• 2+ years recruiting and/or benefits administration experience.
• Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• SHRM-CP or PHR Certification preferred.
• Maintains confidentiality and handles sensitive information with discretion.
• Builds trust through compassion and respect.
• Communicates clearly and professionally in written and verbal interactions.

Job description

The Senior Talent Acquisition Specialist is a trusted member of the Human Resources team, supporting both strategic and administrative HR functions. This role focuses heavily on recruiting efforts across all Equity ECS divisions, new hire onboarding, and benefits administration. In Human Resources, you are held to the highest standard of professionalism and will be a champion of the company culture.

Responsibilities:

• Manage recruiting efforts from requisition submission through completion of new hire onboarding.
• Document the recruiting process and ensure compliance with established process expectations.
• Administer position-specific assessments and share results with hiring managers.
• Maintain communication with new hires during their first 90 days to ensure resources are provided and needs are met.
• Communicate positively with hiring managers and provide high quality customer service.

Benefits Administration

• Track and manage benefits enrollment for new hires and existing team members.
• Communicate health and wellness initiatives to team members.
• Assist the HR Manager with open enrollment administration.
• Reconcile benefit audits and collaborate with accounting to ensure accurate collection of benefit premiums.
• Host benefits presentations for new hires and newly eligible team members to educate them on coverage options.
• Support the HR Manager with the leave of absence process by advising team members and managers to ensure compliance.

Additional responsibilities may include supporting culture initiatives, employee relations, and other Human Resources projects.

Education & Certifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or related field
• 3+ years of Human Resources or related field experience
• 2+ years of recruiting and/or benefits administration experience
• Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
